for a general rule, follow this for the total chakra/stamina used initially (not including turn chakra costs).
Genin level: 5-75
Kekkai-Genkai starter jutsu: 50-125
Chuunin-75-300
Jounin-250-1000
ANBU: 500-2000
Kage level: 3000-?????

there will always be exceptions to this, but that is a general rule. I would say that that jutsu costs...450-750 chakra? choose from that range.

550 is good
